Australia-El Salvador Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AUSVCC) launch at Parliament House, Melbourne
We filmed this high-profile corporate conference in Melbourne, hosted by the Australia–El Salvador Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AUSVCC) at Parliament House on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Featuring the Vice President of El Salvador, His Excellency Félix Ulloa, and members of El Salvador’s Legislative Assembly, the event highlighted Victoria’s growing ties with El Salvador and Latin America. This project is a great example of our expertise in corporate event video production in Melbourne, capturing keynote speakers, audience interactions, and the overall atmosphere of important business gatherings.
Aury Van Sanden – President
It is a profound honour to stand before you tonight as the founding president of the El Salvador Australia Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Our mission is clear, to support businesses that want to explore opportunities in El Salvador and Australia. To facilitate dialogue between governments, investors and communities.
Lee Tarlamis OAM MP
It is a wonderful honour to be here this evening representing the Premier of Victoria for the official opening of the Australian El Salvador Chamber of Commerce and Industry. On behalf of the Victorian Government, I’m thrilled that the Chamber will open its doors and focus here in the wonderful city of Melbourne.
Vice President of El Salvador, Félix Ulloa
Six years ago, we were almost the most dangerous country in the world. We are now the safest country in the Western Hemisphere.
Today, we are arriving to the 992 days with zero homicide.
Once we get the security in our communities, we are ready for the economic miracle. And of course, we cannot do it by ourselves. We need partners, we need allies, we need coalitions.
We are ready for the new era, for the digital economy, for fin tech and for different areas that we do as investors are very welcome to invest in our country. Any company who invests in innovation will get 15 years without paying any taxes. And today, we are the only and the first country in the world which has a national commission to regulate the digital assets.
The Legislative Assembly has played an important key in El Salvador, in positioning El Salvador as an attractive investment hub by enacting a model-legal framework that offers certainty, efficiency and strong incentives.
Deputy Alexeya Rivas
We support the President Bukele in the fight of the guns. Now we are supporting him in working toward the economic miracle of which we hope you will be part.
Vice President of El Salvador, Félix Ulloa
We move from the fossil fuels to renewable energies because we care about what’s going on in the planet. And tourism has become one of the main sources of the foreign currency to come to El Salvador. Because this year we received more than 4 million international tourism. That was a record in the region.
The world is aware now that El Salvador is not only the safe country. It is a beautiful country which presents beautiful landscapes, beaches, volcanoes, rivers, mountains. But also the people. Our people are very warm and very friendly. We welcome the Australians, the El Salvadorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and we hope that this is just the beginning. It’s the first step to build a new and more strong relation between the two nations. Moving forward and building a new future for our country and for your country. Thank you very much.
